  1. Can I still attend a workshop if I am not registered? 
    Please attend the workshop only if you were able to register! We have a limited number of Stata licenses and, therefore, can only accomodate a certain number of students for each workshop. If you attempt to register and are not able, the workshop is full.
  2.  What should I bring with me to the workshop?
    You do NOT need to bring a computer, nor do you need to have Stata. We will provide both at the workshop. You may bring a pen and paper if you plan to take notes, but all workshops will take place in a computer lab. On the day of the workshop, you will receive an email with special instructions for your particular workshop.   
  3. How long are the workshops?
    The workshops will last approximately one hour. There will be time at the end of each workshops for questions. 
  4. Who is teaching these workshops?
    Brad Hemenway (hemenwa2@illinois.edu) will be leading all of our Stata Workshops this smester. He is a professor of Economics at Richland Community College, as well as a current Ph.D student studying Higher Education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. You may contact him with any questions regarding these workshops. 
  5. How do I know which level I should sign up for?
    Stata I-no experience with Stata
    Stata II-basic experience with Stata
    Stata III-intermediate/advanced experience with Stata
    If you unsure of your experience, you may contact Brad for further advice. 
  6. Will you offer more Stata workshops this semester?
    Yes, we intend to offer several more workshops this semester. Once we finalize dates and times, we will email information out to all students.
